Usually CCTV control rooms are managed by the same company who supply you with guards, and often also supply security managers and supervisors.
This results in a high risk of collusion between guards and control room operators: a guard who allows an incident to take place, can then arrange to have the camera footage of that incident deleted by his "buddies".
It is essential to separate your guards and control room operators - which is why we provide independent control room management.
Our CCTV control room operators are trained to monitor both live cameras and recorded footage in your on-site control room effectively. Our teams always have a manager, who has a hands-on feel for what is happening on site. The benefits of this arrangement are of course that if a problem should arise, the manager will often be able to provide leadership or guidance in identifying the problem or potential next move in an investigation process.
All incidents are documented and recorded on the Meerkat online data system, allowing you to draw reports at any time as well as easily identify trends and search for incidents.
Cameras are continually being checked and camera status reports created. Don't find out after the fact that the camera didn't record the incident! We keep track of cameras that require maintenance, cleaning, re-aiming etc.
Remember: cameras are not there just to catch thieves!
