Criminal record screening by fingerprints

Did you know that 10-15% of job applicants in SA have a criminal record, 30% are repeat offenders and 30% have records for theft and fraud?

Fingerprints are now the only accepted method of performing a criminal record check. Checks done via name and ID number are unreliable, and no longer permitted by the SAPS.

Using technology that interfaces with the SAPS AFIS system, we are able to perform a criminal record check from an individual's fingerprints.

We use an electronic fingerprint reader to capture an individual's fingerprints, which are then submitted electronically to the SAPS AFIS system. Results are available from the SAPS within 24 to 48 hours.
